Exhibition, Presentation and Production (part2)

The application of pattern design domain is quite widespread, such as in graphic, advertisement, packaging and others areas. All are closely related with pattern design, not only beautifying the environment but also making our environment more fantasy looking and colourful.

 “Alien like pattern” is a book that leads us into the unknown world, some never-been seen creatures,  this is my unique point of view that I have contributed to this book.

Features of Black and White in Graphic Design

Everyone has their own understanding and experience of graphic design, sometime even specific to a pixel or a color will lead to people’s attention. What is graphic design, graphic design is some kind of leap thinking, impulse, is movement of the brain, graphic design is a creative process, and this is what we usually refer to originality.

 A designer have to raise their level so that they are not moderate, the best way is to constantly do more, think more, but when you reach a certain height, you will tends to some of the ordinary things, even simple as a piece of paper or a leaf on the earth. Actually, graphic design is from simple to complex, from the complex to the simple, as process of repeating the cycle.

 During my study, I found a very ordinary but still a topic worthy of discuss, that is black and white. No doubt, today is the color of time, but why we are still performance black and white art work? A basic reason is that we like black and white height abstraction, which enables us to process with lines and structure more clearly and free, I might like color, but in general it lacks infecting power, people will focus on a particular color, rather than the entire works. A good designer with black and white work was impact and contagious. Color is real than the black and white, but is too real, so people just stay in the here and now, it cannot giving a deeper and abstract image. Black and white confers kinds of spirit to the scene, and makes this more prominent.

 n graphic design, black and white have they own charm. We live in a colorful world, black and white work turn original into black and white world, it is an amazing. We should know how to eliminate through color, make lines and shapes or other factors to produce a stronger and deeper expression. Black and white looks like simple, in fact there are black, white and gray color scale composed infinity levels, we can see a variety gradation through the eye, and we were able to enjoy the real world in black and white world with texture and layers. Compare with color, black and white work is subtle and imagination, it has unique advantages in the graphic design. In beginning of the graphic design industry, black and white is first appearance in the world, it is apply in newspaper, magazine, poster etc., and widely use in advertisement industry. Nowadays, black and white continue to play an important role in graphic design.

 Addition, as a photography enthusiast, I have heard some views from other photographers. They say when they take color photos, the image is just documentary recorded. In other words, they feel just shot color photos, because with color, it is hard to capture theme than black and white. Some photographs say if use black and white instead of color on some photo shot work, the effect will be much better. If you agree with these observations, you should recognize that you also own that preference and should continue to explore all aspects of black and white world. In other words, we should know how to eliminate through color, lines and shapes and other factors to produce a stronger and deeper expression.

 Black and white is always a classic color in graphic design industry. Usually we look more variety color work, in turn, when we see the simple black and white color design, it is amazing enough. With black and white, we can find the creativity and techniques more intuitive, and given our design inspiration. Design is a way from thinking to the expression, I will continue to explore in the future.

Carbonated drinks

Good graphics

Carbonated drink have lots flavors, the main component is carbon dioxide, people drink will feel cool and very exciting.  In some festivals, people enjoy it very much. actually, sufficient amount of carbon dioxide in the beverage have sterilize effect,  also it can take away heat from the body  through evaporation, it is a cooling effect.

Bad graphics

If we pay attention carbonated drink, we can find most of them contain phosphoric acid. It will influence our bodys, human bone health would be threatened. A large number of phosphate acid  will affect the absorption of calcium, causing calcium and phosphorus acid imbalance, and carbonated drinks contain a lot of sugar, the teeth are the most direct victims.

Good graphics

Computer games are very popular, we can relax ourselves by playing computer games after work or study for a long time, playing computer games can sometimes help develop intelligence and the ability to solve various kind of problems, also can makes friends from different places while play online, we can have a lot fun and enrich our life.


Bad graphics

Computer game have benefit to us, but lots of people to indulge in it too much. people face to computer whole day can't to free oneself. Sometimes we forget the time, when you stand up, it was already morning, people have forgotten how to manage time.

Good graphics

Gambling has also good side, it can enhance people's ability to thinking, endurance and confidence. when spare time to reduce work stress. gambling can make emotions up, people will very enjoy it. Gambling as a recreational entertainment is acceptable to most people, just like football, car race, gave rise to a lot of fun.

Bad graphics

Gambling, it could produce greed, will make the life and values ​​distorted, people always delusional something, gambling is high tension, winning will be emotional, losing will be upset, it is a great contrast. And 90% of the cases will lose. Gambling is also easy to make people take risks, theft, robbery, bring  instability factors to social. Why do gambling?

Vehicle

Good graphics

Vehicle can change our way of life, with the building highways, long distances can be covered rapidly. For the first time, many people are able to enjoy their leisure time to the full by making trips to the country or seaside at the weekends, This feeling of independence and the freedom to go where you please is perhaps the greatest advantage of the vehicle.

Bad graphics

With the vehicle growth, environmental pollution is getting worse. Air pollution exacerbates asthma, Vegetation reduce. Also it exhaust emissions serious threat to human health. vehicle is one of the largest sources of pollution. Vehicle is the world's worst invention that pollute the environment, consumption of resources, resulting in global warming.

Mobile phone

Good graphics

Wherever you are, you can see many people equipped with mobile phones. It seems that the world becomes smaller nowadays. You could be found or found other people so long as take the mobile phone, people communicate each other more easier. Some people consider the mobile phone is necessary in daily life.

Bad graphics

Mobile phones transmit radio waves, any kind of radio waves absorbed by human body, it may impact on human health, these waves are called mobile phone radiation. Radiation is most intense where the top part of the mobile phone antenna, when people using mobile phones, the brain is most near the antenna, it will certainly have a negative impact on the human brain.

Each thing has two side, good graphics realize the positive side, mostly it has commercial purposes, such as commercial advertising
Bad graphics
Instead, bad graphics realize the negative side, the majority used in the public service advertising.

Exhibition at Annexe gallery

After our preparation, we are going to Annexe gallery, I draw some sketches about layout, and also found some useful information for us.

Back up venue

Back up plan is appear in bussiness plan normaly. For exhibition venue, we plan find anothers places.
Few days ago, Dai Ying and I went to Nilai looking for suitable place for exhibition, we found “Ice Room”, An ice cream and dessert shop, after
we ask the boss, he said we can use a part of space and that is free of charge, just contact him in advance if we decided.

Prepare exhibition

First of all, we need plan a what should we prepare, for the exhibit there are some points:
- Marketing research. Why we do exhibition? what is purpose? what is benefit? Time, date, venue, people.
- Website (blog/facebook/wiki, etc).  This is use at publish news, announcement, or any update information about exhibit.
- Media. Media can help us Let more people know, and more people come to exhibit.
- Invites. Also media people are consider,  another college people, friends, etc.
